Mr. Imran Ahad

Mr. Imran Ahad assumed the role of Managing Director and CEO at HBFC in April 2021. Appointed by the Federal Government for a three-year term, he brings over 30 years of diverse banking experience spanning global and domestic markets.
With a solid record of leadership, Mr. Ahad has successfully directed key functions such as corporate finance, global markets, and corporate & institutional banking. His notable career includes leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank across UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. He also headed Wholesale Banking at NIB Bank in Pakistan.
Demonstrating competence in strategic business development, Mr. Ahad has fostered highly focused, achievement-oriented teams. His expertise further extends to directorships on the boards of PICIC Asset Management Company, Standard Chartered Leasing, and Standard Chartered Modaraba.
